The Associated General Contractors NYS Scholarship Program will award scholarships to students who must be New York State residents. They may be attending a school outside of New York. Applicants must be seriously intent upon a career in the building, highway or utility construction industry. Applicants must pursue a Bachelor or Associate degree in construction or construction-related engineering. Students must reapply each year for up to three years of undergraduate study. Graduate Student (Master's) are also eligible for a one-year scholarship if they are studying full-time for an advanced construction-related field and are intent upon a career in the industry. Three evaluation forms must be submitted: any combination of college faculty or college academic advisors, employers or Adult not related to the applicant and preferably in the industry. The National Asphalt Pavement Association Research and Education Foundation Scholarship Program is open to undergraduate or Graduate Student who are enrolled in a full-time civil engineering, construction management, or construction engineering curriculum at an accredited four-year college or university or two-year technical institution. Recipients for this award will be selected based on the student's past academic performance and future potential, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experiences, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and outside appraisal. The ABC Construction - Career Training Grant supports career training students pursuing construction trade training through the ABC Construction Program. Applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED. Applicants must be planning to attend a non-degree certificate program at a community college or private career school. The Al Doiron Memorial Scholarship is available to students majoring in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. The students should embody the entrepreneurial spirit, the outdoors, being socially active, and being community-minded.

Scholarships may be awarded to an undergraduate or Graduate Student enrolled in a trade school, college, or university, or a high school senior provisionally accepted at an educational institution and expressing intent to pursue a degree or certified trade program with at least a 3.0 GPA or B Average Equivalent. A written statement from the educational institution where the trade-related, undergraduate or graduate work will be undertaken, indicating provisional acceptance of the student at the institution must be submitted. Two letters of recommendation, submitted by persons at least 18 years of age who are not related to the candidate, are also required. Only one letter of recommendation may come from a Director of MRCA, however, none may come from a Director of the MRCA Foundation. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic performance, employment experience, financial need, letters of recommendation, and a demonstrated desire to pursue higher education. The Bradford White Corporation Scholarship will be awarded to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the p-h-c industry. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or plan to enroll in: (1) A PHCC-approved plumbing or HVACR apprentice program or the Foundation's Fast Track to Service & Repair online courses. Apprentices or technicians must also be working full-time for a licensed plumbing or HVAC contractor who is a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association. Approved courses of study are plumbing or HVACR installation, service and repair. (2) A full-time certificate or degree program at an accredited two-year community college, technical college, or trade school, with a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Approved majors are: business management; mechanical CAD design; construction management with a specialty in mechanical construction; and plumbing or HVACR installation, service and repair. (3) A full-time undergraduate degree program at an accredited four-year college or university, with a major directly related to the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) profession. Approved majors are: business management; construction management with a specialization in mechanical construction; and mechanical engineering. A maximum of four employees from any one employer may win an award in any given year. This scholarship is also open to Canadian citizen apprentices enrolled in a PHCC-approved plumbing or HVACR apprentice program. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from the PHCC business owner or their manager. The Ed and Mary Leary Scholarship supports students pursuing Associate Degrees or Certificates in Building Construction Technologies, HVAC, Civil Engineering Technology, and Computer Assisted Design Programs. The applicants must have completed 6 credits or more at TCL. They must be registered for at least 6 credit hours.

The Civil Engineering and Construction Leadership Excellence Scholarship is open to recent graduates, preferably from Central Illinois high schools, who intend to major in Civil Engineering or Construction at Bradley University. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, participation in co-curricular activities, leadership and service, and potential for success in the profession. Applicants are required to submit a written recommendation from a school official (teacher, counselor, principal). This scholarship is renewable through the completion of the students' engineering degrees.

The Carmine J. Abate Sr. Scholarship is open to students who graduate from New Britain High School, participated in varsity football at the high school, and meet all entrance requirements for admission to the University as a first-time, full-time, matriculated undergraduate. Preference will be given to applicants who enroll in the Construction Management or Civil Engineering Technology majors.
