Vertical Flight Foundation Scholarships awards scholarships to college level students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing engineering related careers in vertical flight technology. A student does not need to be a member of The Vertical Flight Society. Technical disciplines relevant to complex aeronautics engineering or aviation systems, even if not considered vertical lift engineering, will receive equal consideration. Professor Letter of Recommendation and Narrative is required. Narrative should provide a personal statement regarding your passion for aeronautics/aeronautical engineering and it should not be a restatement of your resume or description of research. The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Young orators earn some of the most generous college scholarships available to high school students. The American Legion's National Organization awards scholarships, which can be used at any college or university in the United States. The curriculum of the school must be considered to be of high school level, commencing with grade 9 and terminating with grade 12. Students must be enrolled in high school or junior high school during the time of participation at any level of The American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest. Regulations and other guidelines for the contest can be found on the website. National Oratorical Contest deadline is dependent on each of the participating state but the contest dates will be April 22-24, 2022. All contestants and chaperones will arrive the Friday of the contest weekend. All contestants and chaperones will stay at the official contest hotel.

The Father James B. Macelwane Annual Award was established to stimulate interest in meteorology among college students through the submission of original student papers concerned with some phase of the atmospheric sciences. The student must be enrolled as an undergraduate at the time the paper is written, and no more than two students from any one institution may enter papers in any one contest. The Society encourages applications from women, minorities, and disabled students, traditionally underrepresented in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The following must be submitted: a letter of application from the author, including mailing address and email, stating the title of the paper and the name of the university at which the paper was written; a letter from the department head or other faculty member of the department, confirming that the author was an undergraduate student at the time the paper was written, and indicating the elements of the paper that represent original contributions by the student; and the Student Assessment form completed by the department head or other faculty member of the department. The EWISP Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of traditional students pursuing an associates, bachelor's or master's degree, or certification program in a specific career path. Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a public, private, charter or parochial school located within the boundaries of a participating EWI Chapter or persons who are homeschooled. Applicants must reside within the boundaries of a participating Chapter.

The EOK scholarship program is for deserving young women who have demonstrated community service, leadership, and academic achievement. Previous applicants may apply but must submit a new application. Prior recipients are not eligible. Applicants must submit their verification of enrollment in an accredited US college or university as a degree candidate for undergraduate or graduate study (i.e. letter from advisor, letter of matriculation, tuition bill). Recommendation forms from two academic, professional, or personal references must also be submitted. The John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarship Fund was established to provide undergraduate scholarships to selected applicants. An applicant must be an entering freshman year, of a four-year, undergraduate program, leading to a bachelor's degree, at a Catholic college or Catholic university, in the United States. Applicants must also be a member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus, a son or daughter of such a member, or of such a deceased member, who at the time of death, was in good standing, or a Columbian Squire in good standing. Not limited to Fourth Degree members. The scholarship is renewable each year of undergraduate study to a total of four years.
